I have been a professional artist since 1982. 
• 4 years as an advertising art director.
• 8 years as an award winning freelance illustrator.
• 12 years as a fast-paced illustrator and designer for The Seattle
Times newspaper.
• Highly knowledgeable at Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.

I started my professional career as an art director for ad agencies.
I produced everything: ads,brochures, catalogs, logos, and television
ads. I supervised photography, press runs and coddled clients.

My talent for drawing propelled me into illustration, operating
successfully on a national level and earning a cluster of awards.

Accepting a job at the newspaper furthered my strengths in conceptual
illustration and impactful design. I excelled as a rapid-fire and
award-winning creative problem solver.

I have many years of talent, experience, drive and technical know-how
to produce great work.
